Wimbledon 2023 Event Navigation Proposal
With this mock project, I created multiple pieces revolving around event navigation at Wimbledon, the annual two week Grand Slam tennis tournament in London. These designs are tailored to the experience of a Wimbledon corporate partner (from Babolat) attending the last four days of Wimbledon. The pieces are meant to be elevated, balanced with a sense of friendliness.
Re-designed logo for Wimbledon. This logo maintains consistency with the old logo, but relaxes it. The tennis ball is also moved to above the tennis rackets to imply more sense of action than in the original.
Tickets for the first day of the Championships semifinals: Thursday, July 13. Information on the tickets is patterned after 2022 Wimbledon tickets.
Hand-illustrated poster to be used for OOH advertising, like telephone booth ads and the ads lining the walls along tube escalators. These tube ads often advertise musicals and plays, which the phrase “Summer’s Biggest Stage” on the poster playfully nods to.
Interactive digital directory map and banner signage for the Wimbledon grounds.
Personalized schedule for the last four days of Wimbledon.
Drink menu and coasters for Wimbledon’s VIP garden space.
Credentials for special guests, including partners, coaches, and press. Credentials are color coded based on access type. The use of playing cards for the credentials is two-fold: The phrase “Ace” is also used in tennis and the king and queen cards are a nod to the UK monarchy.
